Less than 72 hours from now, I'll be on my way to a different country for the first time in my life. I can't really describe how excited I am for this wonderful opportunity. Today I experienced one of my favorite and most looked forward to aspects of the trip: the food. I'm really excited to try new foods; things I've never had the opportunity to try. For instance, shark maybe? I'm just really excited for it all. One thing that I'm wondering about, how on earth will I live with heat like Taiwan is known for. Luckily, it's not currently as hot in Taiwan, at the moment, as it usually is. Sadly, my host hasn't contacted me yet, so I made the first attempt, and I contacted him. Hopefully I'll have a response soon, because I really need to know what I need to specifically pack for the trip.
I'll admit, I was nervous about performing the Cupid Shuffle today at the May Dragon. However, I was happly surprised by the reaction from the DFW Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce members who kindly accepted the invitation to join us, and it went really well. I must say, I'm really anxious about getting to Taiwan. I've been told I'll stick out like a sore thumb because of my appearance, and that all the girls will be paying attention to us guys, that's a very different change that I'll need to take some getting used to.
